Premium Drinking Water—Without the Plastic Waste– Set to Debut in Mexico’s Office Breakrooms, Schools, Gyms and Hotels in Partnership with National Leader in Water Purification Solutions
With more than 8,000 of its market-leading water Refill Stations in place across the US and with premiere brands such as Red Bull, Apple, Marriott, Peloton, United Airlines, Warby Parker and Google as customers, FloWater is now expanding into Mexico for the first time. Denver-based FloWater and Mexico’s Pure Water Technology announced a partnership for the distribution across Mexico of FloWater’s Refill Stations. This agreement adds a great-tasting, plastic-free drinking water solution to the Pure Water Technology product lineup, reflecting growing consumer demand for healthier, more sustainable choices.
The announcement comes on the heels of FloWater’s recent completion of its first distribution deal in Canada with Servomax, completing coverage of the North American markets.
Pure Water Technology maintains a dealer network in more than 20 countries worldwide, providing systems trusted by thousands of companies. Their products and services are available throughout Mexico, with teams of specialists for the installation of high-tech water purification equipment located in Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City.
Ultra-purified FloWater is changing how drinking water is served in the US as a popular alternative to plastic water bottles and 5 gallon plastic jugs in offices, hotels, gyms and schools. The company has been recognized by Inc. Magazine for three consecutive years as one of America’s fastest-growing, privately held companies. “There is a mega-shift away from single-use plastics underway across North America with consumers demanding less plastic waste where they work, rest and play,” says FloWater CEO and Co-Founder, Rich Razgaitis. “Our partnership with Pure Water Technology solves the immediate need in the market for companies and hotels to adapt to these rapidly changing consumer preferences.”
CEO of Pure Water Technology, José Martínez Canseco, welcomed FloWater to the Mexican market saying, “FloWater is on the cutting edge of delivering premium, great-tasting and highly purified drinking water right from the tap. We and a fast-growing number of consumers and businesses here in Mexico also share their mission for reducing plastic waste. We look forward to offering our customers the FloWater solution.”
Stockholm-based Bluewater and Denver, Colorado-based FloWater merged in early 2022, and share a mission of innovating solutions for eliminating single-use plastic water bottles and providing access to safe, purified and great-tasting drinking water for everyone. With their beverages, advanced water purification tech, water refill stations and sustainable bottle solutions, Bluewater and FloWater provide water free of heavy metals, ‘forever chemicals’ (PFAS), bacteria or viruses, microplastics and other contaminants to consumers, business, schools and large-scale sports events globally. Both Bluewater and FloWater have each been honored with Fast Company “World Changing Ideas” awards, and featured by numerous leading media, including CNN, Forbes, Inc., The Hollywood Reporter, The Financial Times, and The Daily Telegraph.
