Jeff Johnson, the company’s senior partner, tells us more about the firm and his role. “We are headquartered in Maitland, FL; however, we have more than 120 clients in 35 states,” he begins. Jeff’s story began in 1996 when he was hired as an account executive at DeFalco Advertising in Orlando. “There I met future partners Kevin Baumann, Steven Lorenzo and Jon Albert – and our other partner, Richard Brauns, was actually a client of ours at the time,” he explains. “We purchased our book of business from the company in 2007 and formed JKR Advertising and Marketing. “When I started in the business I had no idea that, years later, I’d still be involved in automotive advertising. But I have always been a big car guy and there certainly isn’t any other industry I love more than this one.” Jeff and his team are sensitive to customer requirements and understand that there are far too many variables to offer a one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter approach. “Using our knowledge, unique creative, media buying savvy and the best software our industry has to offer, JKR plans a year in advance, making tweaks to the strategy along with way when necessary. We help our clients advertise in the right places, utilizing the optimal mix of reach and frequency. Without JKR, there is far too much guesswork involved, not to mention a lot of wasted advertising dollars! It’s all about who spends the smartest; it doesn’t always have to be who spends the most. Our clients enjoy record sales numbers, have less stress and take advantage of more time being freed up to do what they do best – sell cars.” With such huge technological advancements in the last few years, Jeff tells us just how important the digital age is in ensuring the firm stays ahead of the curve. “We take full advantage of the technology available to us. To help us stay at the forefront we’ve invested in a number of important industry software programs other agencies do not have.
