Founder Tj Cade attended law school at Florida International University College of Law, where he graduated fourth in his class, earned Dean’s Scholar awards every semester, the highest grade awards in four classes, including the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership award. During his law school career, Mr. Cade published two of his scholarly papers: one in the FIU Law Journal and one in a peer reviewed Caribbean journal, as well as presented a paper at an international conference held at the University of the West Indies in the country of Trinidad and Tobago. Mr. Cade started his career as an Assistant Public Defender in Broward County, Florida. In the service of the Public Defender, Mr. Cade was a zealous advocate for indigent persons accused of crimes and represented his clients in cases ranging from misdemeanors to second degree murder, taking a number of cases to trial and to jury verdict. Mr. Cade also holds a Masters Degree in Social Work, and utilizes those skills
